Normally AHB accepts submissions during May and November. Right now, however, we are trying to catch up so are not accepting any new work. Please stop back in a few months if you are still looking for a home for your book. When we reopen for submissions, you'll want to visit our Submittable site and upload an excerpt of approximately 20 pages along with a cover letter introducing yourself and the project. We are a small staff, so please be patient when submitting. If you haven't heard back from us within six months, feel free to write a follow-up email inquiring about the work. While we prefer submissions via our Submittable account, you may also send us submissions via snail mail to the address listed here. Please include a self addressed stamped envelope for our reply. If you are interested in submitting to our magazine, please visit us here.
The best way to support us is to order our books -- for yourself, your friends, your students, family, loved ones, in short, for anyone who appreciates world literature. And of course, as a non-profit independent press, we couldn't do what we do without the generosity of grants organizations and donors. If you would like to contribute, either to a specific upcoming title, or to our on-going efforts to bring world literature into English, we won't say no! All contributions are tax deductible and should be sent to Autumn Hill Books, Inc., 1138 E. BENSON COURT BLOOMINGTON, IN 47401. Write us at email@example.com for more information. Thank you!
We occasionally have work for freelance designers at AHB. If you have experience designing both books and e-books, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Include a cover letter and a CV.
