Normally AHB accepts submissions during May and November. Right now, however, we are trying to catch up so are not accepting any new work. Please stop back in a few months if you are still looking for a home for your book. When we reopen for submissions, you'll want to visit our Submittable site and upload an excerpt of approximately 20 pages along with a cover letter introducing yourself and the project. We are a small staff, so please be patient when submitting. If you haven't heard back from us within six months, feel free to write a follow-up email inquiring about the work. While we prefer submissions via our Submittable account, you may also send us submissions via snail mail to the address listed here. Please include a self addressed stamped envelope for our reply.
